Mr. Evans is a shareholder in the firm and earned his J.D. degree at the Rutgers University School of Law. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation at New York University. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Evans is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was President (2002-2003) and has served as Chairman of the State and Local Tax Committee of the Society. Mr. Evans is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves as a member of its governing council. He chaired the New Jersey Corporation Business Tax Review Commission (2002). He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, is a member of the Bar of the State of New Jersey, and is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He lectures regularly in the area of taxation and accounting. Mr. Evans' particular areas of concentration include state taxation, corporate taxation and business planning.
